F1-Manager.co.uk is a Fantasy Formula One Management game.
The basic concept is that you create your own team and you pick two drivers, a chassis and an engine within your starting budget, For 2015 we have limited every team to 2 parts per team to try and improve competitiveness of the rankings.
As the real Formula One season progresses you earn points, For every point you earn you earn a set amount of money and this money can be used to purchase better drivers, chassis and engines.
The overall rankings are based on the points you score in total.

|Any Other Position*||0||0||0|
|Any Other Position*||1||1||1|
|* The points for Any Other Position will only be awarded if the car in question finishes the race.|
|The Driver who gets the fastest lap will automatically score an extra 10 points for that driver.|
The betting system works in a very similar way to any normal betting (But of course it's not for real money!)
Each Driver will have their own odds that will change depending on how the Driver is performing in recent races, You can bet some of your teams budget on a Driver for each race and if you win you'll get extra money for your team changes.
You can place a maximum of 2 bets per race with a minimum bet of £100,000 per bet.
For example, If Jenson Button has odds of 2:1 and you have placed a £1,000,000 bet on him you would get £2,000,000 + £1,000,000 back from this bet.
You pick three drivers who you think will finish in the Top 3 for each race. The top 3 prediction doesn't cost any of your money it is completely free.
If you get the positions correct you earn money. For each correct position you will get £250,000 for your team budget, if you get all 3 positions correct you will earn an extra £250,000.
This means that potentially you can earn up to £1,000,000 extra per race for free.
Make sure you return before the database lock for each race to set your Top 3!
For every point you score in a Race weekend you will earn £125,000.
All of the results for F1-Manager.co.uk are based off F1.com results.
Because penalties are applied for the Race they do not affect Qualifying results.
This means that if a Driver finishes in the Top 10 in qualifying they will still score the points regardless of any Race penalties.
This will be applied in the same way throughout the 2014 Season.
We understand that some people will not like this and think they shouldn't score any points however this was the decision made for the 2014 Season by F1-Manager Admins.
This is a new change for 2015, To try and make the league more competative we have decided to trial locking teams to two parts per team, The idea behind this was to stop every team aiming for the same team (I.E. Full Mercedes like last year) because when this happens everyone scores the same amount of points and nothing changes within the rankings, We are hopeful that this will produce some slightly different teams.
This will hopefully produce different teams and make the rankings less static, In previous years the winner has generally stayed the leader for a lot of the races because people are unwilling to change from the most dominate team.
We understand that this will not be favourable by everyone however this is a new feature and may get changed in future years and we are not ruling out a mid-season change of this feature if it proves to be unpopular, however we are only trying this to see if it improves the competitiveness of the site.
